DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NSCN Angami Region has expressed concern over growing menace of drug abuse and trafficking in and around Kohima and warned that any individual, party, group or organisation found indulging in those activities would be deal with highest action.
An update from GPRN/NSCN stated that selling of alcohol, tobacco, gutkhas etc would not be tolerated. It also warned that any individual seeking contribution, donation etc. in any manner without proper authorisation would not be tolerated at any cost and be punished as per the Yahzabo.
“It's a matter of great and serious issue that affects not only the individual but also the community as a whole. It is leading to crimes, violence and social unrest and has a devastating impact even for future generation,” the statement read.
