DIMAPUR — The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Karmayogi Bharat, is organising the SADHANA (Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement) Saptah from April 2 to the 8th across the country, including Nagaland.
The initiative aims to foster a culture of continuous learning to strengthen governance capability by focusing on three themes: technology (AI and emerging technologies); tradition (Indian or traditional knowledge systems and indigenous innovations and their relevance to governance); and tangible outcomes (outcome-orientated, service delivery, and citizen-centric governance).
According to a DIPR report, during the SADHANA Saptah, all departments are directed to ensure that all government employees who have registered on the iGOTKarmayogi platform complete at least four hours of learning on the platform.

To expedite the onboarding of all employees, departments have been directed to make full efforts to nominate nodal officers and submit employee details and mandatory documents for the development of a department-specific Capacity Building Plan (CBP) at the earliest, as instructed in the department's circulars dated March 10 and 20.
All departments have also been asked to refer to the themes in focus and organise panel discussions to deliberate on governance challenges, reform priorities, and emergent good practices relevant to their respective departments.
Furthermore, departments are to instruct their training institutes to organise capacity-building activities, including domain-specific workshops, sessions, and blended learning programmes aligned with Mission Karmayogi.
The MDO leader will function as the department's nodal officer for SADHANA Saptah. The report on the activities conducted may be submitted to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) on or before April 10.
