- DIMAPUR — The members of the Seyochung Village
Students' Union (SVSU) visited Government High School (GHS) Seyochung Village
as part of their regular monthly visit on Thursday.

- According to an update during the visit, the school faculty
shared their concerns that, since the Government Primary School (GPS),
Government Middle School (GMS), and Government High School (GHS) have been
combined into one, the school is facing a shortage of classrooms.

- The three schools are located in different areas, with a
considerable distance between them. Currently, all classes are being held at
the Government Middle School, which is proving to be difficult due to limited
    space.

- The union also observed that, despite regular visits, some
teachers are still not attending school. SVSU president Longtili C Sangtam
warned that strict action would be taken if this continues. He stated that the
union would report the teachers' attendance to higher authorities and take
further steps based on their response.

- The union, however, expressed gratitude to the teachers who
are regularly fulfilling their duties despite the lack of proper facilities.
