A sharing on the significance of cultural day was delivered by Biru Thulung, who highlighted that culture is not limited to traditional attire or food, but also reflects the values, character, and principles carried within individuals and communities.
The spiritual segment was enriched by a special song presented by the youth department, followed by a duet performance by Vidya and her friend.
The main message of the programme was delivered by Pastor Dr. Bhim Sapkota, who emphasised that all believers are one in Christ and belong to Jesus alone. He reminded the congregation that our true identity is not rooted in tribe, culture, or background, but in Christ Himself.
He further said that “culture divides when pride governs the human heart, but culture becomes a blessing and a means of unity when God reigns over our lives.”
When pride takes control, it leads to division and self-exaltation; however, when Christ is enthroned as Lord, cultural diversity reflects the beauty of God’s creation, he added.
The programme also featured a cultural display by Anna Sapkota and her friend. The event concluded with the hymn ‘To God be the glory,’ followed by the benediction.
