DIMAPUR — Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Tuesday said the availability of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains adequate and uninterrupted across Nagaland, while urging consumers not to engage in panic buying or stockpiling.
In a statement issued through the Press Information Bureau, the OMCs — IndianOil, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) — said the overall fuel supply position in the state remains stable.
According to the statement, the entire fuel supply chain is functioning normally without disruption. This includes refineries, terminals, primary bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships.

The companies stated that daily dispatches are continuing as scheduled to ensure adequate fuel availability across all districts of Nagaland.
The statement added that the OMCs are maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and product replenishment to ensure uninterrupted supply across the state despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.
Appealing to consumers to maintain normal purchasing behaviour, the companies advised the public not to resort to panic buying or stockpiling.
The OMCs also urged consumers to depend only on official communications issued by the companies for verified information related to fuel availability.
