DIMAPUR — Amid concerns over fuel availability triggered by global uncertainties in the oil and gas sector, Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have once again assured citizens that the supply of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Nagaland remains stable and uninterrupted.
In a statement issued through PIB Kohima on Friday, IndianOil, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) stated that the overall fuel supply position in the state was adequate and under control.
According to the companies, the entire supply chain—including fuel terminals, primary bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships—was functioning normally without disruption.

It added that daily fuel dispatches are continuing as scheduled to ensure adequate stock availability in every district of Nagaland.
The OMCs also stated that they were maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and replenishment to ensure seamless fuel distribution across the state despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the sector.
Appealing to the public not to panic, the companies urged consumers to continue with their normal purchasing patterns and avoid unnecessary stockpiling of fuel and LPG cylinders.
The public was further advised to rely only on official communications issued by the OMCs for authentic and verified information regarding fuel availability in the state.
