DIMAPUR — The 5th edition of the Khaozaosie Hok-Ah cum Mini Hornbill festival 2026, organised by the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) and aided by the Government of Nagaland, concluded at Nokhu EAC headquarters under Noklak district on Wednesday.
A Chingmak Chang, president of the Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation (ENPO) and the special guest during the celebration, stated that the state government has opened the door for Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) by sending a recommendation to the Centre, according to a DIPR report.

After over a decade of demanding FNT, he said the aspiration is now closer to becoming a reality. He appealed to all eastern Nagas to continue their prayers and support to ensure the fulfilment of this long-standing demand.
Chingmak urged all officers posted in Noklak district, under the leadership of the deputy commissioner, to take a proactive role in the progress and development of the district. He further appealed to the citizens of Noklak district to cooperate with the officers in all developmental activities.
Festival host and MLA, P Longon, in his speech, stated that while celebrating the festival, people should embark on trusting one another and strengthening unity within the Khiamniungan tribe as well as with other tribes.
He added that the state government has initiated tribal festivals with the aim of fostering unity among the tribes and the Nagas as a whole, thereby advancing the collective aspirations and unity of the Naga people.
