DIMAPUR — Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club, a Nagaland-based non-profit group of motorcycle enthusiasts, has installed a water filter and cooler system at Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The inaugural programme, themed “A step toward clean, safe and chilled drinking water”, saw Abhijeet Bharadwaj, president of the Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club, share that this installation is part of the club’s broader mission to enhance student well-being and access to essential facilities.
He also noted that this year, Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club has successfully facilitated admissions for 43 underprivileged children in various schools.
It was mentioned that the school management expressed gratitude to the club for this meaningful contribution, which will benefit hundreds of students in the years to come.
