Battalion at the free dental camp in Thizama on Thursday.
- DIMAPUR — A free oral screening and dental
check-up camp was held on Thursday at the 4th Nagaland Armed Police (NAP)
Battalion headquarters, Thizama.
- The event was spearheaded by Dr. K & T Keditsu
Foundation, with support from the Biocon Foundation and in collaboration with
the Dental department of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK).
- According to an update, the mobile health initiative aimed
to raise awareness and facilitate the early detection of oral diseases,
especially in areas with limited access to regular dental care.
- Around 100 personnel and local residents benefitted from
complimentary oral screenings, dental check-ups, and minor procedures during
the one-day camp.
- The medical team included Dr. Neiphrezo Sorunuo, Dr.
Mezhuleno, and Dr. Mhonrenli Yanthan from NHAK and Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu, a
cancer surgeon from the Dr. K & T Keditsu Foundation.
