Fazl Ali College hosts inter-school quiz tournament

DIMAPUR — The Mathematics department of Fazl Ali College in Mokokchung organised an inter-school quiz tournament on September 12 with the participation of eight schools namely Eden Academy, GHS Chuchuyimpang, Jubilee Memorial School, Lady Bird School, Model Higher Secondary School, Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, Straightway Higher Secondary School and Town Higher Secondary School.

An update from the college stated that each school was represented by two students from Classes 9 and 10, accompanied by their teacher-in-charge. The quiz competition was conducted by quiz master, Watitoshi Ao, head of Mathematics department, which included rounds that challenged the students’ mathematical knowledge, quick thinking and teamwork.

It stated that Queen Mary Higher Secondary School secured the first position, while Straightway Higher Secondary School and Lady Bird School secured the second and third positions respectively.

It further stated that the tournament not only celebrated academic excellence but also provided a platform for young minds to engage, collaborate and showcase their talents.
