ENPO reaffirms support for Frontier Nagaland agreement and pushes Centre and state government for early implementation

DIMAPUR — The Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation (ENPO) Central Executive Council (CEC) has reaffirmed its commitment to the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed on February 5, 2026, between the government of India, the government of Nagaland and the ENPO, and resolved to press for its early implementation.
The resolutions were adopted unanimously during a meeting of the ENPO CEC held in Tuensang on June 3.
The house resolved to honour and stand by the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA) Memorandum of Agreement signed in New Delhi on February 5.

The CEC also endorsed the ENPO officials to pursue the matter with both the government of India and the government of Nagaland and press for implementation of the agreement without further delay.
In another resolution, the house authorised the ENPO executive leadership to initiate necessary strategies, depending on the situation, to ensure implementation of the MoA without any dilution.
