Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church in New Jalukie under Peren district celebrates silver Vacation Bible School.

DIMAPUR — Marking 25 years of impactful children’s ministry, the Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church (ERBC) in New Jalukie under Peren district celebrated the Silver Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 23 to the 27th on the theme “Light years–incredible God, immeasurable love (Colossians 1:15–17).
An update from the church stated that Fiona Goimei, founder of CATCH ministry from Tamenglong in Manipur, was the guest speaker on the concluding day. Goimei emphasised the importance of nurturing young hearts in the word of God and encouraged parents, teachers and the church community to continue sowing seeds of faith for the next generation.
The welcome address was delivered by Aphun Gonmei, convener of VBS committee, while the journey of children ministry was shared by Rev. Namrong Pamei, pastor of ERBC, and the magazine was dedicated by Rev. Mathiuthai Gonmei, executive secretary of RBCAN.

The keynote address was delivered by Ruth Malangmei, CE secretary, and Gaisinglung Malangmei, CE director of RBCM, shared the greetings.
It stated that the silver VBS celebration brought together children, parents, volunteers, church members and invitees. Highlights of the celebration included Bible classes, music, arts, games and spiritual teachings.
The celebration concluded with VBS extravaganza nite featuring performances and displays by the VBS participants.
