DIMAPUR — Eden Higher Secondary School (EHSS) held a short motivational and interactive session with the deputy commissioner (DC) of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, as the guest speaker on September 4. The session was initiated by Dr. ML Ngullie, chairman of the school managing board.


An update from the school stated that Dr. Chang has encouraged the students to make the best use of their student life and to cultivate a positive attitude. He advised them to seek God’s guidance for success and shared personal experiences from his life as a student and an administrator to inspire them.

Dr. Chang also discussed the challenges of saturation in government jobs and rising unemployment, urging students to explore opportunities in private sectors, different regions and profitable ventures.


Addressing the impact of technology, he highlighted both the positive and harmful effects of excessive mobile phone usage on mental and physical health as well as learning capacity.


It stated that the session left both students and teachers motivated and encouraged to pursue their goals with a positive outlook and determination.
