Eastern Naga Students’ Federation to tour Mon district from December 8 to 10 to inspect developmental projects.

DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) will undertake an official tour to Mon district from December 8 to the 10th as part of its “commitment to safeguarding the developmental interests of the region”.
According to a press release, the delegation will conduct an on-site verification of Waha Island, an emerging ecotourism destination under the custodianship of the federation.
This assessment aims to evaluate the island’s ecological potential, tourism viability, and the measures required for its sustainable management.

In addition to the verification exercise, the federation will inspect several key developmental initiatives presently underway across Mon district. A special focus will be placed on reviewing the progress of the Mon Medical College.
Other infrastructural and socio-economic works will also be examined to ensure that they align with the aspirations and welfare needs of the district’s communities.
The tour will conclude on December 11 at the Tuensang headquarters, where the federation will convene to deliberate on the findings gathered during the visit and to consolidate a review report.
