DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga Students' Federation (ENSF), during its 26th federal assembly on August 29, reaffirmed an earlier representation concerning the non-issuance of release orders for teachers transferred out from the eastern Nagaland region without relievers.

In a press release, the ENSF stated that any violation of this directive shall be treated with utmost seriousness.

Stating that the officer concerned issuing such release orders against the representation of the federation shall be held solely responsible and fully accountable for any adverse consequences that may arise, it instructed all district education officers (DEOs) and sub-divisional education officers (SDEOs) to strictly comply with this directive without exception.

“Non-compliance shall be regarded as wilful negligence, and the officer concerned shall bear the consequences entirely at his/her own risk,” it said.

Furthermore, the ENSF called upon all its federating units to remain vigilant, take necessary action as required, and submit immediate updates to the ENSF office.
