Eastern Naga Students’ Association holds general conference in Dimapur
Officials of Eastern Naga Students’ Association during its 7th general conference at Dimapur Government College on October 25.


DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA) held its 7th general conference on October 25 at the auditorium of Dimapur Government College on the theme “Strengthening unity through cultural diversity.”


An update from the association stated that the secretary general of Naga People’s Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR), Neingulo Krome, attended the session as the special guest and the convenor of Global Naga Forum, Chuba Ozukum, as the guest of honour.


It stated that the conference witnessed solidarity messages and presence of special invitees from the NSF, ENSF, ANSAM, DNSU and NSO. It added that around 450 delegates from different units and subordinate bodies from Nagaland and beyond the artificial boundaries attended the conference.


Meanwhile, a new office bearers for the tenure 2025–2028 was also installed with Atimiu Makury as president, Natong Shungwang as vice president, Letwang Ranshoong as general secretary, Lamtheo as assistant general secretary, Chingpai S Konyak and Sithaw Somra as finance secretary and assistant finance secretary, Ayan Boba and Puchou as education and statistical secretary and assistant education and statistical secretary.

Other office bearers included N Pulei Konyak as information and publicity secretary, Kenset as assistant information and publicity secretary, Chingloi as executive chairman, Hempao Khiamniungan as executive secretary, Suhlithong as games and sports secretary, Y Nyakpong Wangsa as assistant secretary of games and sports, Tsuchoi Khiam and Cwe Kela as women coordinator and assistant women coordinator, Theu James and Yeilo as social and cultural secretary and assistant social and cultural secretary.


The conference concluded with dedication prayer for the new team said by Wirl Thaw Mu, assistant professor at Shalom Bible Seminary.
