DIMAPUR — The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has expressed concern over indiscriminate dumping of waste along roadsides and public areas and appealed to all the citizens to act responsibly and uphold civic sense by maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene practices.
In an update the Council stated that such practices not only create an unpleasant environment but also contribute to unhygienic conditions, blockage of drain, pollution and health risks for the community. It added that a clean environment is a shared responsibility of every resident in creating a healthier and cleaner town for all.

It further expressed hope that the residents can build a cleaner and healthier East Dimapur town through collective responsibility and civic awareness.
