KOHIMA — Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) and DRUM TAO brought an unforgettable blend of energy and rhythm to Kohima on Dec. 3.
Fresh from their vibrant performances at the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival, as well as shows in Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata, Japan’s globally renowned ensemble continued their India tour with a powerful live showcase, marking a memorable three-day performance at the Hornbill Music Festival.
An update issued on Thursday informed that the performance added to another milestone in DRUM TAO’s 14-city India tour aiming to celebrate the artistic bond and long-standing cultural ties between India and Japan.
Known for their powerful Taiko drumming, flawless synchronisation, and visually striking stage presentation, the group drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 12,000 people over three days, all gathered to experience an evening filled with electrifying sound and dynamic motion.
With every beat building towards an exhilarating finale, the performance held the audience spellbound. DRUM TAO’s finesse and powerful stage presence drew roaring appreciation throughout the shows.

DRUM TAO are said to continue their India tour with the next performance scheduled at Greenwood Resort in Guwahati on December 6, before moving on to other cities in the coming weeks.
