KOHIMA — Eighteen-year-old Linoka K Achumi was crowned Miss Nagaland 2025 title during the grand finale held at RCEMPA in Jotsoma on Thursday.
The event was organised by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) in collaboration with Department of Tourism, and Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) on theme "Grace and beauty- the women in you".
A total of 16 beauty queens vied for the title at the grand finale.
Miss Nagaland 2025 Achumi, who was the 2nd runner-up of Miss Sumi 2025, walked home with a cash prize of INR 1.50 lakh along with gift hampers.
Bendangienla was crowned 1st runner-up and received a cash prize of INR 1 lakh and gift hampers, while Christina H Yeptho was crowned 2nd runner-up and won a cash prize of INR 70k along with gift hampers.

Bendangienla was Miss Mokokchung 2025 and Christina H Yeptho was Miss Dimapur 2025.
It was informed that reigning Miss Nagaland 2025 and the 1st runner-up will get direct entry to Miss Northeast 2025.
The top 5 finalists were: Linoka K Achumi, Bendangienla, Christina H Yeptho, Kechangunuo Kelio and Linoka Yepthomi.
The judges for this year’s Miss Nagaland were Easternlight Zimik, founder of East; Abraham Lee, CEO of Atomy Enterprise Pvt. Ltd.; Ruopfu Whiso, Miss Kohima 2019; Vikuonuo Sachü, Miss Nagaland 2019; and Asangla Nokdir, member of BASN.
Additional director of Higher Education Nagaland Nishena Nekha, stressed that Miss Nagaland is a platform to empower women, and the event witness courage, discipline and dreams.
The sub-title winners were awarded a cash prize of INR 10,000 each along with gift hampers.
