Peren, Zunheboto, Wokha, and Dimapur record wins at Dr. T Ao Trophy 2025 held in Kohima stadium.

KOHIMA — Peren, Zunheboto, Wokha, and Dimapur secured wins on Wednesday in the ongoing Dr. T Ao Trophy at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In Match 14, Peren edged past Tseminyu 2-1. Substitute Nrakhak proved to be the game-changer, scoring a brace that sealed the victory. Tseminyu had taken an early lead in the 22nd minute through Japhet Kath.
Peren struggled in the first half, but the introduction of Nrakhak after the break turned the tide. He netted the equaliser in the 64th minute and followed it up with the winner in the 70th minute.

Zunheboto dominated Shamator with a 3-0 win, controlling the match from start to finish. Pulovi Kiho opened the scoring in the 30th minute, followed by Vinato Achumi in the 38th. Tokibe sealed the victory with a header in the 60th minute.
In Match 16, Wokha defeated Phek in a closely contested 3-2 encounter. Yisanbemo opened the scoring in the 20th minute, with Tsentselong doubling the lead just after the break in the 46th minute. Renjamo added the third in the 61st minute.
Though Phek fought back with two goals from Veporayi in the 66th and 70th minutes, it wasn’t enough to level the match before the final whistle.
Dimapur sealed a comfortable 3-0 win over Longleng in the final match of the day. Mangkholen scored in the 30th minute, followed by Rukuwe in added time (35+1'), and Zarenthung in the 48th minute.
