District-level quiz competition held in Longleng

DIMAPUR — Samagra Shiksha Longleng (SSL), under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA), on Wednesday conducted a district-level quiz competition for the elementary section.

An update from SSL stated that a total of nine government schools in Longleng district participated in the competition, which was conducted by quiz master, Akangtula Jamir.

It stated that Ching Yang L from Government High School Yongnyah secured the first prize, while Pangtha from Government High School Yachem and Danted from Government Middle School Block won the second and third prizes respectively.

The prizes were given away by Tinumayang, district education officer and district project coordinator of Longleng, who also encouraged the students to strive for academic excellence.

It added that the programme concluded on a successful note by reaffirming the commitment of Samagra Shiksha Longleng towards fostering academic excellence and holistic development among students of the district.
