DIMAPUR — A free surgical camp will be organised at the District Hospital Zunheboto on August 25, under the initiative of the Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT).

According to a DIPR report, the camp will be led by Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, MLA, along with a team of specialist doctors.

The programme aims to provide free and easy access to specialised healthcare, particularly for rural communities facing challenges in availing surgical and diagnostic services.

The camp will cover general surgeries, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, dental, and ENT procedures. However, surgeries related to eye and ear are not included.
