DIMAPUR — The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) conducted a two-day in-house orientation for the newly recruited graduate teachers (Maths/Science) on September 24 and the 25th.
According to an update, the programme was attended by 73 Science graduate teachers, 51 Maths graduate teachers and five post graduate teachers.
The orientation covered key topics including the ‘Introduction to Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules 1968’ by Andreas, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland; ‘Nagaland Education Service Rules 2017, Maintenance of Service Books/APAR’ by Raymond Vizo, SA; ‘Teaching methodology of Science in classroom’ by SCTE; ‘Use of SMILE App and TAMS’ by NECTAR Team; ‘Social-emotional learning/inclusive education’ by Dream A Dream; ‘RTE Act 2009/NEP 2020’ by SCERT; and ‘Basic accounts matters/pay fixation’ by Accounts Section, DoSE.

Through expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, the programme aimed to prepare teachers for effective and inclusive education.
Shashank Pratap Singh, Principal Director of DoSE, also exhorted the newly recruited graduate teachers.
Earlier, the keynote address was delivered by Tinumayang, Additional Director and Deenabandhu Panda, Additional Director.
Imtisangla, Assistant Director and Asa Neikha, Assistant Director, chaired the sessions.
