- DIMAPUR/KOHIMA — The
Directorate of Printing and Stationery, on May 31, bid farewell to its outgoing
director, Neituolie Phewhuo, who retired after completing 35 years of service
at the age of 56.
- According to the media cell of the department, Phewhuo
joined the service on May 16, 1990, and served the department in various
capacities until he took charge as director on May 1, 2021, a position he held for
the past four years.
- At the farewell ceremony in the directorate conference hall,
Phewhuo expressed his gratitude to his predecessors for their guidance and
support, adding that the advice of seniors and elders never misled anyone but
instead motivated and inspired with zeal and enthusiasm.

- He further acknowledged the officers and staff for their
hard work, dedication, and support throughout his service and urged the entire
departmental staff to render cooperation to the superior officers for the
upliftment of the department and to move forward by fulfilling the government’s
dreams and aspirations.
- The joint director, Jongpongtoshi, while delivering a speech
on behalf of the department, expressed appreciation for the outgoing director’s
dedication, visionary leadership, and notable achievements during his tenure,
including the inauguration of the branch press in Chümoukedima, major
construction works, and the upcoming director’s quarter, which is in the
pipeline.
- Marking a first in the history of the department, the
complete pension papers of the retiring director were handed over to him.
Phewhuo expressed his happiness with the work done by the pension cell
officers.
- Tseminyu bids farewell to DC, EAC
- A farewell programme in honour of the outgoing DC Tseminyu,
Rohit Singh, and EAC, Ruokuosetuo Tetso, was held in the conference hall of the
DC office in Tseminyu on May 27.
- According to a DIPR report, in his farewell speech, Singh
expressed gratitude to MLA Jwenga Seb, the administrative officers, staff of
the DC office, heads of departments, the president of Rengma Hoho, the
president of Rengma Women Association, and the president of Rengma Selozi for
their support and cooperation during his short tenure as DC of Tseminyu.
- Speaking on behalf of DPDB Tseminyu, Seb thanked the two
outgoing officers for taking the district forward on the right path by bringing
many changes and achievements. Seb also lauded both officers for their
sincerity and dedication in their assignments.
- Incoming DC Tseminyu, Japhet Woch, congratulated the
outgoing officers for conducting the election peacefully. He said many
challenges lie ahead, and cooperation will be needed. He requested the NGOs,
hohos, and all heads of departments to feel free to share any issues with him.
- Outgoing EAC Tseminyu, Ruokuosetuo Tetso, also thanked all
the heads of departments and NGOs for their cooperation and support to the
district administration.
