DIPR officials met Advisor Daochier I Imchen in Kohima and discussed departmental projects, initiatives and future plans.

DIMAPUR — Officials of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) called on Advisor for Information & Public Relations and Soil & Water Conservation, Daochier I Imchen, at his official residence in Kohima on Monday.
At the outset, Commissioner & Secretary, IPR, Orenthung Lotha, and Director, IPR, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, congratulated Imchen on his victory in the Nagaland by-election from Koridang Assembly Constituency under Mokokchung district.
The commissioner & secretary and the director briefed the advisor on the department’s ongoing projects and activities and assured him of their full support and cooperation under his leadership.
Expressing his appreciation, Imchen described the occasion as a homecoming, noting that his late father had overseen the same departments until his demise. He thanked the department’s officials for standing by him during a challenging period and appealed to them to continue extending their support and guidance.
The advisor also urged the department to expedite projects and initiatives that were started during his father’s tenure, stating that doing so would help preserve his legacy and keep his memories alive.
