Dimapur faces a three-hour power shutdown on August 24 as the Power department undertakes urgent transmission line maintenance
DIMAPUR — Power supply to several parts of Dimapur will remain shut for three hours on Monday morning as the Power department undertakes urgent maintenance work on the 66 kV Power House–Dairy Farm–Nito Farm transmission line.
According to a department press release, the shutdown will be from 5 am to 8 am on August 24.
The Power House, Dairy Farm and Nito Farm substations will remain under shutdown during the maintenance period.
The department stated that the shutdown is necessary to facilitate urgent maintenance work and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to affected consumers.
It appealed to consumers and the public to extend their cooperation and support during the shutdown period.
