The Govt. Railway Police Station on Monday noon recovered the body of an unidentified male, approximately 45-50 years old, at Dimapur Railway Station.

DIMAPUR — The Government Railway Police Station on Monday noon received a memo from the Dimapur Railway Station Manager reporting an unidentified male, approximately 45-50 years old, found dead on Platform No. 1 near Post No. 20.
On receiving the information, the duty party rushed to the place of occurrence. Inquest was conducted over the dead body, Dimapur Police stated in a press release. The cause of dead was suspected due to illness and starvation. On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for PM examination/identification. The deceased was wearing black half pant without shirt and barefooted.

On June 27 at around 5:14 pm, East Police Station received a call from District Hospital Dimapur reporting the death of an unidentified male, approximately 25-35 years old, who was undergoing treatment.

Upon receiving the information, the duty team rushed to the scene, confirmed the death, and conducted an inquest. The cause of death was suspected to be natural. According to police, the deceased was wearing black T- shirt, black and white long pants and black underwear.

Earlier, on June 25 at around 5:30 pm, West Police Station received a call from Dimapur Police Commissionerate's control room reporting an unidentified male, approximately 35-40 years old, found dead at the LRC waiting shed in Dimapur.
The deceased was described as a dark-complexioned male, dressed in black jeans and a blue and white T-shirt.
