Dimapur Police issue road closure notice

• DIMAPUR — After the completion of construction and development works, including strengthening with Dry Lean Concrete (DLO) and Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC), on the existing 2-lane pavement below the Flyover along Dimapur Railway Siding from Blue Hill Police Assistant Booth (PAB) till the exit point of Flyover Y-junction, the road will be closed to all vehicular traffic until May 15.

• A traffic advisory from Dimapur Police on Wednesday stated that this closure is to allow for proper curing of the new PQC surface to ensure the durability and structural integrity of the newly laid pavement.

• Light motor vehicles will be permitted to ply from May 16. However, restrictions will remain for heavy motor vehicles until the concrete curing process is fully completed.
