Dimapur Police conducts cyber awareness programmes in schools to promote digital safety and responsible online behaviour.

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police, in consonance with the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) observed globally during October, conducted a series of activities aimed at promoting cyber safety, enhancing digital literacy, and encouraging responsible online behaviour among citizens.
According to an update, the initiatives formed part of Dimapur Police’s ongoing commitment to fostering a secure digital environment.
As part of the observance, lectures on cybercrime, cyber hygiene, and cybersecurity were delivered at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, St. Paul Higher Secondary School, and Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur.

Cyber awareness posters were pasted at various locations within the city, and awareness pamphlets were distributed to the public.
Students in 30 schools across Dimapur also took the Cyber Awareness Pledge as part of the initiative.
Dimapur Police acknowledged the schools and the public for their vital role and enthusiastic participation, which have strengthened community resilience.
