Dimapur Night Carnival from December 6-10

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), in collaboration with the district administration and Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), is organising the annual Dimapur Night Carnival as an extension of the Hornbill Festival.

The night carnival will be held from December 6 to the 10th, covering the stretch from City Tower to Holy Cross School Junction.

The event is aimed at promoting and encouraging local entrepreneurs, artisans, and vendors, providing them a dedicated platform to showcase their products and services, the DMC stated in an update.

During this period, the designated area will host food stalls, local crafts, small business displays, live music, and other entertainment activities designed to create a festive and community-friendly atmosphere.

The council appealed to the public to extend full cooperation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. Traffic diversions and necessary arrangements will be issued separately by the competent authorities.

“All citizens are invited to participate and support local entrepreneurs, making the night carnival a vibrant and successful community initiative,” the update stated.
