DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) will organise a cleanliness drive at the flyover point in Dimapur on September 6. The initiative is being held in collaboration with the district administration and authorities.
According to a press release issued by DNSU, the drive will begin at 6 am and is aimed at bringing together concerned citizens, students, local organisations and community members to contribute towards maintaining public spaces free of litter and pollution.
The programme will include removal of litter, awareness sessions on waste management, and guidance on adopting eco-friendly practices in daily life. DNSU will provide gloves and waste collection bags while requesting volunteers to bring brooms and other necessary items.

The union has invited citizens, students, institutions, corporate bodies and non-profit organisations to participate. It stated that the collective effort could make a visible difference to the city’s environment and inspire long-lasting change.
