DIMAPUR — The
first Dimapur Junior Athletics Meet was held on Saturday at Pilgrim Higher
Secondary in Kuda Village ‘B’ Khel, Dimapur, with young athletes from various
schools competing in multiple track and field events.
According to an update, Moalong Jamir from Greenwood School
won two first-place titles in the Boys U-16 category, taking the 60m run and
the long jump. In the Girls U-16 events, Apoang N of Government Higher
Secondary also claimed victories in both the long jump and shot put.
Participants and organisers of the Dimapur Junior Athletics
Meet at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Kuda Village ‘B’ Khel in Dimapur on
Saturday.
