Dimapur Government College launches Beautician Crash Course

DIMAPUR — The Skill Development Committee of Dimapur Government College conducted the inaugural programme of the Beautician Crash Course on Tuesday in Room No. 18, Arts Block.

According to an update, the event aimed to equip students with practical skills in the field of cosmetology and was sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Nagaland.

The programme was chaired by Taba Yasi, assistant professor from the Department of Hindi. The event commenced with a welcome address by the chairperson, followed by a brief introduction of the programme by Dr. Maongkala Longchar.

This was followed by a short speech delivered by Hukali Avito Swu, a renowned makeup artist and trainer, who shared insights and motivated the participants.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Elizabeth Chongloi, a BA 1st Semester student from the Department of Psychology, expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors.
