The Dimapur Bengali Students' Union felicitated 31 meritorious HSLC and HSSLC students on June 28.

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Bengali Students' Union (DBSU) organised its felicitation programme for 2026 at the Town Hall in Dimapur on June 28 to honour the meritorious students for their outstanding performance in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations.
A total of 31 meritorious students were felicitated for their academic excellence, which included seven students from the Central Board of Secondary Education and 24 students from the Nagaland Board of School Education.
The programme was attended by Dimapur Municipal Council Councillor and President of BJYM Nagaland V Khekato S Awomi as the guest of honour, Chief Advisor of the All Assam Bengali Youth Students Federation Dipak Dey as the special guest, and President of the Dimapur Bengali Samaj KK Paul as the special invitee.
Addressing the gathering, the guests congratulated the awardees and urged them to continue striving for excellence while upholding the values of community and service, stated an update.
DBSU President Rajat Ghosh said, "This programme is not just about marks and ranks. It is about celebrating hard work, inspiring juniors, and strengthening the bond of our community through education and culture."
The student union extended congratulations to all the awardees and expressed gratitude to the guests, parents, volunteers, and well-wishers who contributed to the success of the programme.
