DIMAPUR — A 15-day Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA), a nationwide awareness and saturation campaign for Jalukie block, was launched at DB court, ADC office, Jalukie, on Monday.
Speaking at the launch event, ADC Jalukie, Albert Ezung, emphasised the campaign’s primary objective of achieving 100% saturation of central government schemes among eligible beneficiaries in villages, according to a DIPR report.
Addressing a gathering of village functionaries and beneficiaries, he appealed for close coordination with concerned departments to maximise outreach and impact. He urged village-level functionaries to proactively encourage residents to avail themselves of the benefits and facilities provided through various government initiatives.

Furthermore, he directed departmental officers to work in collaboration with village functionaries to develop and implement structured programmes. He also emphasised the need for intensified awareness campaigns at the grassroots level to ensure comprehensive coverage and successful execution of the campaign.
At the programme, officials from various government departments, including Agriculture, Rural Development, Medical, SBI Jalukie, Social Welfare, and Food and Civil Supplies, briefly highlighted the ongoing welfare schemes and support services implemented under their respective departments.
Their presentations aimed to raise awareness among villagers and ensure effective access to these schemes.
The launch event was also attended by village council chairpersons and GBs from Jalukie 'B', Samziuram, Nkwareu, and Jalukieram villages. As part of the campaign, a total of 12 villages under Jalukie block will be covered in the coming days.
