
Officials of Agriculture department along with the outgoing
officers during the farewell programme in Kohima on Wednesday.
- DIMAPUR — The
Department of Agriculture bade farewell to three retiring officers namely B
Imti Tzudir, additional director; L Mhao Lotha, joint director; and Besühü
Dawhuo, registrar, during a programme held at its directorate in Kohima on Wednesday.
- The programme was chaired by S Yongchang Phom, director of
Agriculture, and a brief service profile of the retiring officers was read out
by Sanuzo Nienu, additional director.
- Tili Kent, superintendent, and Medovilie Ladu, joint
director, spoke on behalf of the department, who lauded the retirees for their
decades of dedicated service and significant contributions to the department.
They also highlighted their professionalism, work ethics and the legacy they
left behind for future officers.
- The retiring officers fondly reminisced about their years of
service and shared experiences and valuable insights from their journey. They
encouraged the staff to remain committed and continue serving with dedication
and integrity.
- The programme concluded with exchange of mementos and warm
wishes for their future endeavours.

Officials of Legal Metrology and Consumer
Protection along with the outgoing officers during the farewell programme in
Kohima on Wednesday.
- In a related programme, the department of Legal Metrology
and Consumer Protection (LM&CP) bade farewell to outgoing additional
controller, K Takeeth Imchen; joint controller, Y Rilise Sangtam; and Steno
Grade-II, Nukshimenla, during a programme held at the conference hall of its
directorate on Wednesday.
- The event was attended by Limawabang Jamir, secretary, and
Bendanglila, joint secretary, officers from the secretariat and family members.
- Speeches eulogising the contributions of the outgoing
officials were delivered by officials and colleagues.
- The programme was chaired by Shiloh Kath, assistant
controller, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Limatoshi Jamir,
deputy controller.
- In another programme, Nagaland House, New Delhi, bade
farewell to its outgoing resident commissioner in-charge, Wennyei Konyak, at
its conference hall on Wednesday. Wennyei Konyak has been transferred as the
deputy commissioner of Mon district.
- Speaking on the occasion, Konyak expressed his gratitude to
the officers and staff of Nagaland House for their cooperation during his stay.
Addressing the representatives of various Naga student bodies and unions in
Delhi, he reminded them on the importance of working together and building a
strong community bond.
- Informing that each Naga living in Delhi is an ambassador,
he stated that people would know the Nagas either through positive or negative
contributions.

- Kuolie Mere, deputy director of Information and Public
Relations and senior PRO at NH New Delhi, wished the outgoing officer success
in his new assignment.
- Presidents of Naga Students’ Union Delhi and Delhi Eastern
Naga Students’ Union also spoke on the occasion.
- During the programme, Sharon Longchari, new joint resident
commissioner of Nagaland House, New Delhi, was also accorded warm welcome.
- A staff of Nagaland House, Manwar Singh Rawat, was honoured
on his retirement.
