A dental camp at Hebron Camp screened 185 patients, offering treatment and promoting oral health awareness.

DIMAPUR — As part of the ongoing observance of World Oral Health Month, a one-day dental camp was organised at Hebron Camp, led by Dr. Weri Mero, Medical Officer, CHC Dhansiripar Block, Chümoukedima district.
According to an update, a total of 185 patients were screened during the camp. Among them, 61 underwent tooth extractions, 18 received GIC restorations, and eight received temporary fillings.
In addition, beneficiaries were screened for blood pressure and diabetes, and free medicines for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) were distributed.
Toothpaste and toothbrushes were also provided to promote oral hygiene.
Furthermore, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were disseminated to raise awareness about oral health and hygiene practices, it stated.
