Dimapur Police has imposed traffic curbs on National Highway-29 on April 6, restricting heavy vehicles and parking along key stretches from 6 am to 6 pm.

DIMAPUR — The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, has issued a traffic advisory imposing restrictions on National Highway-29 on April 6 from 6 am to 6 pm in the interest of public safety and security.
According to the advisory, movement of heavy vehicles will not be permitted along the stretch from Airport Junction (3rd Mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail Junction), and further up to the four-lane intersection overbridge at Showuba village.
No parking will be allowed along the stretch from Airport Junction (3rd Mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail Junction). Between 4th Mile (Central Jail Junction) and Old Showuba Town, vehicles will be permitted to park only on one side of the road.
Requesting citizens to adhere strictly to the traffic regulations during the period of enforcement, the police have warned that vehicles found violating the advisory will be towed away.
