Sara S Jamir inspects development works in Aghunaqa circle and reviews key government schemes in Niuland district.

DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, Sara S Jamir, along with the members of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), conducted a field inspection to Aghunaqa circle on Tuesday.
According to a DIPR report, the purpose of the visit was to inspect the actual implementation of departmental works in the field, engage with local stakeholders at the grassroots level and an initiative to bring the government offices at the doorstep of the people living in Aghunaqa area.
The team visited PM Shri Government High School (GHS) Pihekhu and Government High School Aghunaqa and held interaction with the students, teachers, staff and village authorities.
In her speech at PM Shri Government High School, Pihekhu, Jamir urged the teachers to be dedicated and sincere in their duties and produce good results.

The team also visited Jal Jeevan Mission scheme at Nizheto village, Solid Waste Management Unit at Aghunaqa and inspected works undertaken by the RD department at Pihekhu village.
The DPDB members also held a meeting with civil societies and NGOs at Hukhai village (Aghunaqa).
During the visit, various DPDB members held interaction with the village leaders in regards to their respective departmental schemes and projects being implemented in their villages.
