Mokokchung DC issues new traffic diversions on NH-02 after severe road damage between Chuchuyimlang and Unger.
DIMAPUR — Following severe damage to a stretch of National Highway-02 (NH-02) between Chuchuyimlang village and Unger village, Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, has issued a comprehensive travel advisory regulating vehicular movement in the area.
The advisory, which takes immediate effect and will remain in force until further notice, aims to ensure the safety of commuters and facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.
According to the advisory, commuters have been directed to follow the designated alternative routes based on their destinations.
For travel between Mokokchung town and Tuli, in both directions, all vehicles must use the Mokokchung Town–Impur Junction–Longjang–Kelingmen–Tuli route.

DC issues update on widespread rain damage in Mokokchung
Vehicles travelling between Mokokchung town and Chuchuyimlang village, in both directions, have been directed to take the Mokokchung town–Impur Junction–Yisemyong–Mongsenyimti–Chuchuyimlang route.
One-way traffic heading from Mokokchung town to Changtongya town has been diverted via Mokokchung Town–Impur Junction–Longjang–Kelingmen–Unger–Akhoya–Changtongya town.
Meanwhile, vehicles travelling from Changtongya town to Mokokchung town must use the Changtongya Town–Unger–Unger local ground–Chuchuyimlang/Kelingmen Junction–Mokokchung town route.
The district administration has urged all commuters to strictly adhere to the revised traffic regulations and cooperate with officials deployed along the routes.
Travellers have also been advised to exercise caution and stay updated on any further advisories issued by the administration.
