DC Longleng W Manpai Phom prohibits dumping of materials, unauthorised parking

DIMAPUR — The deputy commissioner (DC) of Longleng, W Manpai Phom, has directed that dumping of construction/building materials, other debris and unauthorised parking of old/unused vehicles along the road/highway within Longleng town is strictly prohibited.

According to an order, any dereliction with this order shall attract a penalty and further action deemed appropriate under relevant legal provisions.

Further, it informed that individuals/society/groups undertaking new building on the roadside highways/circular roads within the town jurisdiction shall obtain prior clearance from the administration and ward authorities for provision of road width and drainage, according to a DIPR report.

The concerned ward authorities have been directed to monitor compliance and report any violation to the district administration for further necessary action.
