In view of ongoing landslides and road connectivity issues in the district, the DC directed the contractor to make necessary arrangements to ensure that all essential construction materials required for completion are procured and kept available at the site.
The team also discussed the need to use the Tangha-Kangching-Merangkong road as an alternate route for transportation of construction materials in the event that the main highway is closed or becomes inaccessible so that prevailing road conditions do not further affect the progress of work.
As the hospital building is nearing completion, the DC underscored the importance of having the concerned engineers from the department stationed at the site during the final stage of construction. This will facilitate timely supervision, resolution of technical issues, and completion of remaining works as per approved specifications.
