- DIPHU — The
district commissioner of Dima Hasoa has ordered a magisterial enquiry to be
conducted by ADC Sangeeta Devi into the incident leading to the death of three
NSCN (IM) cadres, which was registered at Haflong Police Station case no. 20/2025
U/S 109 (1)/132/147/148/149 BNS R/W Sec 16/20 U.A (P) Act and 2591-A/27(2) Arms
Act.
- This was issued by the district information and public
relation officer of Haflong on Wednesday.
- The public notice has called upon the witnesses or witnesses
of the incident of the encounter.

- “Any person or any public body or organisation, who may have
any information about the incident or are willing to give oral evidence,
material evidence or written statements may appear before the magistrate
between May 14 and 21 during 11 am to 3 pm,” the order stated.
- It stated that evidences, statements etc. would be recorded
at the office chamber of the magistrate assigned for the enquiry to ascertain
the facts, circumstances and causes leading to the incident.
