DIMAPUR — The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and the Nagaland Net Qualified Forum (NNQF) have reiterated their demand for a subject-wise distribution of the 34 requisitioned assistant professor posts and details on the seven sets/categories of the newly created 129 posts.

In a letter addressed to chief secretary (submitted on August 14), the associations urged the government to make the breakup public.

The organisations recalled that the Directorate of Higher Education had earlier declined to meet CTAN and NNQF regarding the High Power Committee report and requisition process. Following this, the two bodies held a press conference on July 17, calling upon the authorities to release information on the subject allocation of the 34 posts and the categorisation of the 129 newly created posts, which were notified on July 2, 2025.

They further appealed to the state government to expedite the process of requisitioning the 129 posts to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) after clearance from the Finance and P&AR departments to ensure a fair and timely recruitment process.

“We once again state our request for public information of the above stated matter,” the joint letter read.
