
Nokkai Delimth poses with Vilelie Khamo holding his citation
and cheque for INR 2 lakh during the annual thanksgiving day at Coraggio
School, Kohima, on May 2.
- DIMAPUR — Coraggio School Kohima celebrated its
annual thanksgiving day on May 2, attended by chief patron Vilelie Khamo and
his wife, the board of directors led by chairman Dr. Hovithal Sothu, outgoing
students and their parents, teachers, and current Class 10 students.
- According to an update, delivering the welcome address,
Kekhriengunuo Khamo, administrator, mentioned that the school has maintained a
100% pass percentage for the last 10 years and lauded the efforts of the
teaching staff and the strong partnership with parents, emphasising their vital
roles in the students’ success.
- Dr. Sothu, who spoke on behalf of the chief patron, reminded
students that HSLC marks are a beginning, not an end, and urged them to remain
humble, consistent, and respectful.
- In his thanksgiving speech, Nokkai Delimth, who secured the
10th rank in the recently announced HSLC results by Nagaland Board of School
Education (NBSE), emphasised the values of resilience, unity, and consistent
effort. Nokkai shared a message to his juniors, urging them to believe in
themselves and strive for excellence.

- Theja Thapo, who secured the 17th rank, said that success
isn't just about marks or trophies; it is about giving one's best, learning
from mistakes, and growing as a person.
- Delimth received the Vilelie Khamo Award, which included a
citation and a cash prize of INR 2 lakh, while Theja Thapo received a citation
and INR 1 lakh.
- Additionally, the student who secured the state highest mark
in FIT, Mercy Leno (100 marks), also received a cash prize of INR 5,000. Along
with her, two students, Tolika K Ayemi (Class 10) and Sentitoba Jamir (Class 9),
received the Lechale Khamo Award.
- Two teachers, Chanele Apon (FIT) and Asieno Sekhose
(English), as recipients of the Achiever’s Award, were felicitated with cash
prizes, along with the teachers of all students who scored A1 in their
respective subjects.
