Leaders and organisations mourn the untimely demise of Kuchi Rangkau Zeliang, son of Nagaland Dy CM TR Zeliang.
DIMAPUR — Multiple organisations and leaders have expressed grief over the demise of Kuchiheing Rangkau Zeliang, son of Deputy Chief Minister TR Zeliang, who passed away on October 9 at Olive Hospital in Dimapur.
In a condolence note, Minister for Public Works Department (Roads and Bridges) G Kaito Aye expressed shock and grief over the demise, noting that on a personal note, Kuchi was like a son to him.
Describing him as a true gentleman known for his humility, a beloved son, and a loving husband, Aye conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
The Western Chakhesang Hoho mourned his passing, describing him as a man of humility, gentle spirit, and deep faith in God.
The hoho stated that as an entrepreneur, sports enthusiast, and youth leader, he made meaningful contributions to youth development in Nagaland. The organisation added that he was also a brother-in-law, a devoted husband to Neitele, daughter of former minister K Therie, and a loving father.

The Tenyimi Union Dimapur conveyed heartfelt condolences, remembering him as a God-fearing individual, a compassionate philanthropist, and a dedicated businessman who touched many lives.
The union noted that his passing is a great loss to the Tenyimi family and the Naga people at large.
The Rongmei Students’ Organisation Nagaland expressed deep sorrow, describing him as a philanthropist and successful businessman whose passing is an irreparable loss to the bereaved family, the Zeliangrong community, and Nagas as a whole.
The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation expressed profound sorrow to the bereaved family, stating that the untimely demise of a young life is a heartbreaking tragedy that leaves behind a void that can never truly be filled.
The Zeliangrong Mipui Organisation Nagaland conveyed its deepest condolences to TR Zeliang and his family, stating that the untimely loss of a beloved family member brings immense sorrow, and conveyed prayers for comfort and strength.
The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato), through its Ministry of Information and Publicity, expressed deep shock, noting that he was a prominent entrepreneur, community leader, and co-founder of YouthNet who contributed to youth development and sports.
The NPF Central Minority Wing mourned his passing, with its president, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, stating that Kuchi was closely associated with the minority wing and stood by them as a guardian whenever they needed guidance and support, describing him as a noble human being and promising young leader.
