CNCCI condemns the Chümoukedima bomb blast that killed a security personnel, urges swift justice, and calls on citizens to uphold peace and support the investigation.
DIMAPUR — The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has condemned the recent bomb blast in Chümoukedima district that claimed the life of a security personnel and left four others seriously injured.
In a statement, the CNCCI described the incident as a reprehensible act of violence and a direct assault on the peace, stability, and sense of security that the people of Nagaland have painstakingly nurtured over the years.
"The people of Nagaland have endured decades of hardship and conflict and have collectively embraced the path of peace, dialogue, and development. No individual or group should be allowed to derail this hard-earned peace through such senseless acts of violence," it stated.
The CNCCI maintained that lasting peace is indispensable for economic growth, employment generation, investment, tourism, and the overall development of the state.
It urged law enforcement and investigating agencies to leave no stone unturned in identifying, apprehending, and bringing the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.

The confederation also welcomed the intensified investigation by the authorities and expressed confidence that every effort would be made to ensure those responsible are held accountable in accordance with the law.
Further, the CNCCI asserted that the people of Nagaland would not allow the state's hard-earned peace to be undermined by acts of violence.
It called upon all citizens to remain united, cooperate with the authorities, and collectively uphold peace, harmony, and the rule of law.
