DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio attended the two-day Conference on “Financing India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat” organised by the Ministry of Finance in New Delhi.
‘Attended the inaugural day of the Conference on “Financing India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat” organised by the Ministry of Finance. We deliberated on policy complementarities between the Centre & states, challenges, & financing strategies for India’s dev. journey towards Viksit Bharat,’ he wrote on X.
The two-day conference of State Finance Ministers, Finance Secretaries, and select Chief Ministers from states and UTs with legislatures concluded on Saturday.
Rio also shared that he met with Annpurna Devi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development in the national capital.
“We discussed women and child welfare in Nagaland, strengthening schemes, and ensuring effective and equitable delivery of welfare initiatives,” he shared.
