City Law College NSS Unit and Sunrise Colony Council sign an agreement for student field training and community projects.

DIMAPUR — The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of City Law College and Sunrise Colony Council have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enable law students to have real-world practical learning.
The MoU was signed on Wednesday by NSS Programme Officer Tongpang Imchen on behalf of City Law College and Chairman N John Zeliang on behalf of Sunrise Colony Council.
According to an update, the agreement was witnessed by Odinungshang, GB of Sunrise Colony, and Pucakhu Sema, Chairman-cum-Administrator of City Law College. Principal of City Law College Dr. T Limanochet Jamir was also present on the occasion.
The MoU focuses on jointly conducting service-orientated and skill-enhancement activities, including workshops, seminars, conferences, and extension lectures.
The parties also agreed to facilitate practical exposure, expertise, internships, field training, knowledge transfer, capacity building, and skill enhancement programmes. Furthermore, they will collaborate on joint projects, events, and community outreach initiatives while sharing resources and data where feasible to strengthen research and training for the students.
