The Chümoukedima District Badminton Association Inter Club Badminton Tournament saw 80 players compete across events at NAPTC Chümoukedima.

DIMAPUR — The 1st Inter Club Badminton Tournament organised by the Chümoukedima District Badminton Association (CDBA) concluded on April 11 after two days of competition at K. Kire Indoor Badminton Stadium, NAPTC, Chümoukedima.
According to an update received here on Wednesday, a total of 80 players from six clubs participated in the tournament, with 51 entries across four events. Altogether, 47 matches were played over two days on three courts.
In the men’s doubles (open), Anahito Aye and Vipu of Achiku Club emerged as winners, while Orrox and Vinoto, also of Achiku Club, finished as runners-up.
In the 75+ doubles category, Katemjungshi and Vidikholie Rupreo of Apache Badminton Club secured the title, with Jeff and Tovi of Ace Shuttler’s finishing runners-up.

In the 85+ doubles category, Rokosito Khro and David Rungsung of Patkai Club won the title, while Ghukato and Moa of Ace Shuttler’s were runners-up.
In the 95+ doubles category, Moa and Saku Jamir of Ace Shuttler’s emerged winners, with Eniro Murry and David Rungsung of Patkai Club finishing runners-up.
The event was graced by Chairman, NIDC, Government of Nagaland and Chairman of Tetso College, Kvulo Lorin, as the special guest. Honorary General Secretary of the Nagaland Badminton Association, Joseph Sumi, attended as the official observer. The matches were officiated by referee Imtilong Lkr, a National Technical Official under the Badminton Association of India.
The organisers stated that the tournament was conducted smoothly and expressed gratitude to participating clubs, officials and supporters.
